Norwood Makers Collective has a lofty idea to make Norwood one of the most inclusive city in Cincinnati region. The group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month in the old St. Elizabeth Church on Mills that is now managed by Vineyard Central. This group works on individual projects and collective projects that include sleeping mats for the homeless and blankets for foster children. The group is open to the public, and occasionally, it is attracting new visitors who are new to Cincinnati as immigrants and resettled refugees. At the last meeting, they hosted a free sewing class, and it was also attended by a neighbor originally from the Congo.
